Beverly of Graustark

The story follows Beverly Calhoun, who visits her friend Princess Yestive in Graustark. During her journey, she encounters bandits and becomes embroiled in a conflict involving the ousted Prince Dantan and his wicked half-brother, Gabriel. Disguised as a goat hunter, Prince Dantan is hiding in the mountains, and his band of rebels mistakenly believes Beverly to be Princess Yestive.

As Beverly and Dantan navigate their complicated circumstances, their developing romance faces numerous obstacles, including the political turmoil between their countries.
