Beyond the Law

The story follows Deputy US Marshal Frank Dalton's brothers, Bob and Grat, who take over his duties after his death. They quickly uncover corruption within the Marshals Service and choose to resign. Grat's life takes a turn when he is cheated by a gambler, leading to a series of misfortunes that culminate in his wrongful imprisonment for a train robbery.

After breaking out of prison, Grat and Bob seek vengeance against the express company that falsely accused him. The film combines elements of the western genre with a dramatic narrative that reflects the struggles of lawmen fighting against corruption. As a silent film from the late 1910s, it offers a glimpse into early cinematic storytelling and the societal issues of its time.
