Bhai Thakur

The story centers on Gajendra Singh, a wealthy villager who struggles with illiteracy. Despite his affluence, he faces challenges in his arranged marriage to Janki, the sister of Thakur Diwan and Ranjit Singh. After their wedding on Hanuman Jayanti, Janki's dissatisfaction leads her to leave Gajendra, propelling him into a quest filled with emotional turmoil.

In his search for Janki, Gajendra encounters heartbreak upon learning of her presumed death. This revelation prompts him to take drastic action by sealing the Hanuman Mandir doors, symbolizing his decision to remain single.
