In "Bhoy," Jaya suffers extreme mental and physical abuse from her husband Ranjeet. Despite her numerous attempts to escape, she remains entangled in a web of manipulation and violence. Ranjeet's involvement with a smuggler named Jagmohan complicates matters further, leading to dire consequences for Jaya and her family.

The film unfolds with Jaya's father selling their house to help her, only to face a tragic accident that prevents him from delivering the money needed to appease Ranjeet's debts. The situation escalates when Ranjeet proposes a horrific arrangement to Jagmohan, putting Jaya in a position of grave danger. Her eventual escape to the home of reporter Pallab Chatterjee offers a glimmer of hope, but the lurking threats from Jagmohan and Ranjeet ensure that danger is never far behind.
