Directed by Zespół Filmowy "Rytm," Birth Certificate explores themes of survival in wartime Poland. It features three interconnected stories that illustrate the challenges faced by children amidst the occupation.

In the first narrative, titled "On the Road," a young boy and a soldier navigate the chaos of September's strife while transporting worthless documents. The second story, "Letter from the Concentration Camp," focuses on young boys assisting their mother as they cling to a treasure: their father's officer uniform, who is imprisoned.

The final segment, "Blood Drop," centers on a Jewish girl hiding in an orphanage, who embodies the traits the Germans consider typical Aryan. Each story highlights the resilience of youth and the harsh realities of war, making this film a compelling portrayal of childhood during adversity.
