Bōkyō

The film consists of three interconnected narratives. In "Mikan no hana," housewife Misato Tomita faces the realities of her island home being merged with a neighboring city. In "Umi no hoshi," Yōhei Hamasaki, who has relocated to Tokyo, must reconcile his past and present life with his wife and son. The final story, "Kumo no ito," follows popular artist Hirotaka Kurosaki as he returns to his hometown after a seven-year absence, reflecting on his roots and the changes that have occurred.
