Black Gospel

The film follows Dong-keun, Jun, and You-mi, members of Korea’s only gospel choir, Heritage. They embark on a journey to Harlem to learn about the roots of gospel music and to perform alongside Harlem’s gospel singers. Through a series of lessons, they discover that Black Gospel transcends technical skill and vocal beauty, and originates from deep within the soul.

This documentary captures the transformative power of gospel music and its ability to connect cultures. The experiences of the choir members highlight the universal nature of music and its role in expressing faith and emotion.
