Black Mountain

The film unfolds on December 31, 1979, when five students arrive at a sanatorium in the Karelian forests. Led by Associate Professor Mymra, who is the rector's daughter, the group is in high spirits as they prepare for a festive performance. However, tensions rise when Pasha plans to propose to his girlfriend Katya, only to have her kidnapped by the lovesick Associate Professor.

As the night progresses, Mymra's jealousy towards Katya leads her to concoct a romantic scheme involving the Associate Professor. The atmosphere shifts dramatically when Vitya, a local stoker and expelled student, crashes the party. Claiming to be a descendant of Karelian shamans, he performs a bloody rite that escalates the situation, resulting in unforeseen consequences for the students.

Black Mountain combines elements of horror with themes of love, jealousy, and the supernatural. With its unique setting and gripping storyline, this film offers a fresh take on the horror genre.
