Blade: Trinity really takes a different turn for the series. David S. Goyer shifts the tone a bit, mixing that dark, gritty vibe we expect with some strange humor, courtesy of Ryan Reynolds' character. The pacing feels a bit off at times, yet it keeps you engaged. The practical effects and action sequences are fun, though maybe not as polished as the earlier entries. There's this interesting theme of teamwork, seeing Blade having to rely on others against a common enemy. The atmosphere feels like a blend of horror and sci-fi, with a bit of camp thrown in. It’s definitely distinct, not just a rehash of the previous films, but it might not land for everyone. Still, it’s worth a watch for the lore and the evolution of Blade's character.
