The story centers on Valera Romeev, a young artist working as a street portrait painter while grappling with his identity in a bustling city. He grew up in a mining town in Eastern Ukraine and seeks support from his elder brother, Vadim, who has distanced himself from the family to pursue a successful business career.

As Valera struggles with feelings of jealousy and frustration, he faces the harsh realities of urban life. The film explores themes of sibling relationships, loss, and the search for connection amidst personal turmoil. With a cast featuring Alexandr Novin, Anastasiya Klyueva, and Agrippina Steklova, Blood presents a poignant narrative rooted in the emotional challenges faced by its characters.
