Blood Crime is an interesting exploration of a cop's descent into obsession and rage. The film sets up an atmosphere of dread with its foreboding forest scenes, giving off a sense of isolation. The pacing, especially in the first half, pulls you in with its relentless tension. Performances are solid, with the lead capturing that burned-out cop vibe really well. What stands out here is the way the film plays with moral ambiguity; you find yourself questioning justice and revenge throughout. Also, the practical effects during the attack are quite jarring, making the brutality feel very real. It’s a different kind of thriller, leaning heavily into the psychological aspects rather than just violence.
Dark and moody atmosphere. · Explores themes of justice and revenge. · Strong performances, especially from the lead.
