Blood Kin

The film follows Otto Hille as he prepares an expedition for Leopold Švarc, an elderly man facing serious illness. Accompanied by Michel, a loyal autistic friend, cook Jan, and Dr. Ignaci, they venture into the past, specifically the former German village of Vitín. Otto also recruits a bankrupt painter, Henry, adding complexity to their journey.

As they travel back to Otto's ancestral land, the film delves into the events of 1945, revealing Otto’s encounters with his grandfather, Otfried Hille.
