In the film, Emperor Kun-Ryung of the Ching Dynasty oppresses the Chosun people, leading to a tragic event for a young girl named Pak Ouk-hwa. After her father is murdered, she seeks out martial arts training from the great Buddhist priest Wun-su. Taking on the name 'Butterfly of Ching', she becomes a symbol of hope and strength for the suffering women of Chosun.

As Ouk-hwa rallies the women to fight back against the brutal guard Oh Kol-ma, the stakes rise. The film showcases a series of intense battles as Ouk-hwa and her followers confront their oppressor. Despite facing numerous challenges and losses, Ouk-hwa's determination to protect the weak drives the story forward. Her journey culminates in a fierce fight against Oh Kol-ma, ultimately leading to her victory and return to Chosun.
