Blue Sunshine

The story centers on Bhanu, a high school teacher, who is determined to transition into a trans woman while managing her responsibilities in a small town. Despite facing pressure from her parents to marry due to financial circumstances, Bhanu finds the strength to live authentically with the support of her friend, Haritha.

As Bhanu encounters difficulties with the school administration's refusal to recognize her identity, she also becomes involved in the struggles of a student named Karthik. Karthik faces bullying from his classmates for his feminine traits, leading him to express himself through makeup and nail polish. The film delves into the complexities of their experiences, addressing issues of acceptance and the fight for dignity in a challenging environment.
