The film follows Marika Katou, a third-year student at Hakuho Girls' Academy, who balances her academic life with her role as a legitimate space pirate. Armed with a Letter of Marque, she leads her school's space yacht club and works part-time at Cafe Lamp. When she receives a job to rob a high-class passenger ship, her adventure takes an unexpected turn upon discovering Kanata Mugen, a boy with a galaxy pass on the passenger list.
