Border Blues

The film follows Moscow police detective Andrei Somov, who resigns and moves to the United States, only to find himself in a menial job at a restaurant. His family struggles with visa issues, leaving his son and pregnant daughter-in-law behind. Somov’s journey takes him to Tijuana, where he encounters Larry, another ethnic Russian who helps families enter the US illegally.

As the plot unfolds, Somov uses his Russian language skills to connect with LAPD officers, leading to a collaboration that intertwines their lives with a mad bomber targeting pharmaceutical companies.
