Border Café

The story follows a young widow who inherits her late husband's truck stop café. She operates the café from behind the scenes, striving to maintain her dignity while facing societal challenges. Her brother-in-law wishes to take her as his wife and seize control of the café, complicating her efforts to carve out her own identity.

The film also features a Greek trucker who becomes a regular at the café, initially drawn in by the woman's exceptional cooking. As he spends more time at the café, he develops a deeper connection with her. This dynamic adds layers to the narrative, reflecting both personal and cultural conflicts within the backdrop of Iran's conservative landscape.
