The film follows Kip, who takes a vacation to New Mexico to pursue the outlaw gang responsible for robbing the railroads. Adopting the persona of the Durango Kid, he aims to bring Cass and his gang to justice after a violent double cross at the bank leads to their demise. To recover the stolen loot, Kip teams up with Tex and Grubstake, although Grubstake is unaware of Kip's true intentions.
