Boys in Blue

The film follows a teacher who emphasizes the importance of work to his students. Karel excels in his exams while Vláďa struggles, leading to a summer of contrasting choices. Karel seeks factory experience, while Vláďa initially opts for a more leisurely path, indulging in poetry.

As Vláďa ultimately chooses to join Karel in the factory, he faces the realities of labor. His initial difficulties give way to acceptance and a newfound appreciation for work. After sustaining an injury, Vláďa reflects on his future during his hospital stay and decides to forgo further studies, believing his contributions at the factory will be more valuable.
