In the year 2050, mankind has become extinct. The last survivors travel back in time to prevent an invasion by Killgis, guided by roboticist Kenichiro Kurenai. The story unfolds as they endeavor to construct the giant robot known as Red Baron. The pilot of Red Baron, along with reinforced humans, must race against time in a fierce battle that begins in Tokyo, aiming for the survival of Earth.
