Bread Upon the Waters

Tim Clancy, an ex-convict, returns home on the day of his release and is welcomed by his mother and sweetheart. Determined to change his life, he secures a job at the Ganes shoe factory. However, his past catches up with him when a detective recognizes him, leading to his discharge from work upon the revelation of his criminal record. The film delves into the challenges of reintegration and the societal stigma faced by those with a criminal past.
