Brewster McGee is an intriguing dive into the darker side of human obsession wrapped in a comedy package. It’s got this really unsettling vibe, where you can’t tell if you should laugh or cringe. The pacing is a bit all over the place, but it adds to that disorienting feel. The characters are these quirky misfits, and their descent into stalking and manipulation of a lonely fast-food worker is both bizarre and oddly compelling. The practical effects, while not the highlight, serve the story’s off-kilter tone well. Performances are a mixed bag—some really nail the oddball energy, others feel a bit out of sync. It's distinctive in its audacity; not your typical comedy, that’s for sure.
