So, 'Buddy Cops' is quite the ride. It’s a mix of action and comedy, but you can feel that it's really about the clash of personalities. Fei, the hot-tempered detective, is a mess, and it’s fun to see him thrown into this department full of misfits. The chemistry with the desk officer Johnny is really something—he's so disciplined while Fei is... well, the opposite. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, but that kind of adds to the chaos. There's a nice blend of practical effects and some well-timed physical comedy that makes the action sequences more engaging. You can tell they were trying to create a certain atmosphere of absurdity while still tackling themes of teamwork and redemption.
