Bunshinsaba: Hoichi The Earless

The film follows Yu Mei, who feels overshadowed by her sister's success. After a failed suicide attempt, she finds a Kuman Thong statue that leads to the unleashing of the Jaroona spirit following a blood sacrifice. The story takes a twist when Yu Mei enlists goofy ghost hunters who realize they are ill-equipped to handle the situation.

As the danger escalates with the death of her friends, the group seeks the help of the BiXian, a spirit in her own right, but even she proves insufficient against the malevolent Jaroona. In a surprising turn, they must call upon Sadako, a well-known figure in horror lore, to join forces with BiXian. This unusual alliance is central to the film's climax as they strive to save Yu Mei from the chaos unleashed by her actions.
