Callas, Darling

The film follows Marie, who speeds down the highway at 240 km/h on a fateful August night. Stopping for a cigarette and a Capri Sun, she encounters Gerlinde, leading to an unexpected bond between two lost souls.

Their journey takes them south to Albania, where they visit the childhood home of Gerlinde's late partner, Marieta. Along the way, they meet various characters who seek freedom and self-realization. As they navigate rest stops and hostels, Marie and Gerlinde begin to reflect on their lives and dreams, contemplating the possibility of new beginnings.
