Candidature

The film follows Jean, a young philosopher from Paris, as he travels to Angoulême for a recruitment competition for the National Education. On the bus, he encounters two other candidates: the cunning Pauline and the highly capable Luc Dunoyer, a specialist in Descartes. Jean struggles to maintain his composure in the presence of Luc, who has a flawless exam history. However, the dynamic shifts when Luc unexpectedly falls asleep during the journey.
