Casabianca

Set in November 1942, the film follows the French submarine Casabianca as it escapes from German-occupied Toulon. After joining the Free French forces in Algiers, the submarine embarks on a secret mission to Corsica, where it aids two secret-service agents in contacting the Marquis resistance forces.

The narrative unfolds as the agents learn of the resistance's readiness to revolt but their lack of arms and ammunition. In response, the Casabianca is tasked with delivering necessary weapons to aid the resistance fighters. The film culminates in the submarine returning with trained troops to assist in an offensive against German forces, showcasing themes of bravery and sacrifice during wartime.
