Catamaran

The story follows Singaram, a middle-aged fisherman who is dedicated to caring for his orphaned niece and nephew. As he works tirelessly to provide for them, he attempts to arrange a marriage for his niece, only to discover that she is in love with her female teacher. This revelation forces Singaram to confront his own beliefs and navigate the challenges posed by his community's conservative values.

The film also highlights the journey of acceptance as Singaram empathizes with Alankaram, a transgender barber in the village.
