Charuulata 2011

The film follows Chaiti, the wife of a newspaper editor named Bikramjit. As a workaholic, Bikramjit often neglects Chaiti, leaving her feeling isolated and unhappy. Despite her education and beauty, she finds herself spending her days in solitude, adorned in expensive saris and lacking fulfillment in her life.

After suffering an unfortunate miscarriage, Chaiti seeks companionship in Amal, leading to a friendship that offers her solace. The narrative captures her struggles and emotional journey, set against the backdrop of a romance that reflects the complexities of relationships.
