Chased and Suspected

The plot follows Eva Trojanová, who returns home one night to find her husband agitated. Three days later, her body is discovered with bruises on her neck, leading to her husband being labeled the prime suspect. As he flees to northern Bohemia after a business trip, the investigation takes a turn when Captain Hart learns of his innocence.

Instead of treating him as a criminal, Hart pursues the husband as a desperate man whose situation may put him in danger. This narrative explores themes of innocence and the complexities of human relationships, set against a backdrop of crime and investigation.
