Chellakannu

Chellakannu features the story of cousins Chellakannu and Chandra, who have loved each other since childhood. Upon Chandra's return from her studies, familial pressures to arrange their marriage unfold amidst a backdrop of village politics and personal vendettas. Dhandapani, Chellakannu's father and the village Panchayat headman, confronts various conflicts involving Chandra's father, Thangavel, and their adversaries, Rajavel and Kailasam.
