The story follows Naïma, a 20-year-old who works as a housekeeper for Étienne, an esteemed gastronomic critic. Her life takes a turn when she surprises Étienne with a bottle of wine, revealing her natural aptitude for oenology. This moment leads to Étienne inviting her to explore his impressive wine cellar, which houses some of the most legendary bottles, including the Château Mouton Rothschild from 1945, renowned as the most expensive wine in the world.

As Naïma transitions from housework to wine tasting, the dynamic between her and Étienne evolves. Despite the abundance of wine in his cellar, Étienne refrains from drinking, adding a layer of depth to their interactions.
