Chushingura: The Truth

The film follows Lord Asano Takumi-no-Kami Naganori as he faces dire consequences after an ill-fated reception involving Lord Kira Kozuke-no suke Yoshinako. As a result of his actions, Lord Asano is forced to commit seppuku, leading to his loyal samurai becoming ronin after the Shogun confiscates Asano's land.

Two years later, Oishi Kuranosuke Yoshi rallies the ronin to seek vengeance against Lord Kira, culminating in an attack on his compound.
