Cinematic Liars of Asahi-za

The narrative centers around Asahiza, a movie theater in Minamisoma, Fukushima Prefecture, which has been in operation for almost 100 years. As the theater struggles to attract customers, Yasuzo Morita, its manager, contemplates shutting it down. Just as he is about to dispose of the old 35 mm films, a young woman named Rika Motegi arrives from Tokyo with the intention of saving the theater.
