Clingy Girlfriend

The film centers on Niko, who is cast in the main female role of a stage play titled "Clingy Girlfriend." Despite her on-stage persona, she struggles to convey her feelings for her part-time job manager. The arrival of her manager's ex-wife intensifies her emotions, creating further complications in her love life.

Parallel to Niko's journey, the author Kaburagi faces his own challenges. Living in obscurity, he receives harsh criticism for his new novel while grappling with the departure of his editor and former lover, Chi-bou. As their stories intertwine, the film explores themes of love, longing, and the difficulties of expressing emotions in personal relationships.
