The pacing has a nice build-up, keeping you guessing, but it really ramps up with the introduction of those vengeful spirits that add a layer of existential dread. Practical effects are decent, not over-the-top, but they serve the story well. Performances are pretty solid too, especially Eddy’s—there’s a raw edge to his desperation that makes it engaging.
