Coco is such a vibrant exploration of family and memory. The animation is a feast for the eyes, especially the depiction of the Land of the Dead—so colorful and detailed. Lee Unkrich and his team really captured the spirit of Día de los Muertos. The music is woven beautifully throughout, and it plays a central role in Miguel's journey, with some heartfelt performances that linger with you. There’s this rich layering of themes about passion and family legacy that feels both personal and universal. The pacing is well done; it doesn't rush through its emotional beats, allowing the audience to soak in the atmosphere. Plus, the voice performances are just top-notch, really bringing the characters to life.
