"Colmeal" delves into the complexities of growing up and finding one's identity against a backdrop of rural decay. The film is set in a small village in Riba-Côa, known as a ghost village, highlighting the impact of rural exodus and inland desertification. The narrative follows a young man who grapples with his emotions and desires as he becomes infatuated with a woman visiting from the city.
