Come to My Voice

The film unfolds in a snowy Kurdish mountain village in eastern Turkey, where the lives of Berfé, her granddaughter Jiyan, and their family are upended when Temo, the only man in the household, is arrested by the Turkish military. The military's commanding officer believes the villagers are hiding weapons, leading to the detention of all the men until the supposed weapons are surrendered. However, the villagers have no weapons, leaving Berfé and Jiyan in a desperate situation.

As they navigate the challenges imposed by the military, Berfé and Jiyan embark on a harrowing journey to find a gun to exchange for Temo's freedom.
