The story follows Aoyagi Seiji, who struggles to find purpose after the death of his wife. Working at Ariake Pharmaceuticals, he faces monotony until the company merges with Healthy Foods, creating Ariake Foods & Pharmacy. This merger brings new opportunities, including a memorial performance of "Swan Lake" by the Shikishima Ballet Company, which Aoyagi is tasked with producing.

As he navigates the challenges of directing a ballet, Aoyagi begins to rediscover his passion and purpose in life.
