Comrade Song

The film consists of three narratives that showcase the significance of song in various contexts. In "Song-password," Lieutenant Marchenko is tasked with delivering crucial fuses to underground scouts in a Nazi-occupied city, using a password song to facilitate their communication.

The second story, "Song about the mother," follows pilots Igor and Victor working in Africa. They create a heartfelt recording dedicated to Igor's mother, which takes on deeper meaning after Igor's untimely death from an epidemic, leading Victor to share the tape with her.

Finally, "Song at Dawn" tells the tale of student Sergei, who composes a song for Valya, a girl he loves. Despite her marrying another man, Valya reflects on Sergei's song as her own life unfolds with struggles over the years. Each novella highlights the emotional weight of music against the backdrop of war and personal turmoil.
