Conditioned

The film follows Nam, who is raised as a boy to meet the expectations of her mother and grandfather. She navigates the challenges of her day-to-day life by dressing as a boy for school and switching back to her girl’s uniform afterward. Her mother's fixation on her absent husband creates tension, leaving Nam searching for acceptance and understanding.

Nam finds solace at her childhood friend Yeung's house, where she can express her true self, albeit in mundane tasks. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when Yeung suddenly disappears, forcing Nam to confront her reality and the pressures placed upon her. The film provides a lens into the struggles faced by individuals caught between societal expectations and personal identity.
