Contribution

Set in Perm, Siberia, during the tumultuous year of 1918, Contribution tells the story of General Anatoliy Pepelyaev and the challenges faced by his exhausted army. As supplies dwindle, the General enlists local merchants to gather funds, leading to a dramatic turn when a wealthy widow presents a massive diamond that mysteriously vanishes the next day.

The film follows investigator Andrei Murzin, sentenced to death, who is tasked with recovering the lost diamond in a desperate bid to save his life.
