Creation of the Gods II: Demon Force continues the epic story with a blend of fantasy and historical elements that’s pretty engaging. Wuershan brings a unique visual flair, especially with the practical effects, which stand out in a genre that often leans too much on CGI. The pacing felt a bit uneven at times, but the performances by the ensemble cast, especially Deng Chanyu, really anchor the film. The themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the clash between mortal and divine are woven throughout, giving it an interesting depth.
