Cromosoma Cinco

The documentary begins with the birth of Andrea, a premature child who is described as beautiful and different. Her mother, Lisa Pram, embarks on a year-long search for answers regarding Andrea's health. This quest culminates in the creation of the Little Black Book, an intimate collection of texts, drawings, and photographs that reflect Lisa's experiences and emotions.

Cromosoma Cinco is based on this personal diary. It tells a poignant story of a family's struggle and resilience as they navigate the complexities of Andrea's diagnosis with Cri du Chat syndrome, which involves the loss of a small part of Chromosome 5. Through this narrative, the film captures the profound ways in which Lisa learns to see and accept both light and life amid adversity.
