Cruel Estate

In Cruel Estate, Helén and Jenö are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their child while struggling to find a suitable place to live. They enter into a contract with Szeréna, an elderly woman residing in a two-family house, agreeing to pay a modest rent in exchange for taking care of her until her death.
