The story revolves around Advocate Nivaran Chatterjee, who lives a comfortable life in a small town with his wife and three sons. Each son presents a different dynamic; the first is married, the second son Kedarnath struggles with mental challenges after a head injury, and the youngest, Amarnath, excels academically.

Amarnath's love story with Beeni Mukherjee unfolds as they navigate familial and societal pressures. Meanwhile, Kedarnath's attraction to Beeni's older sister, Saraswati, adds complexity, especially when he is falsely introduced as an accomplished student and athlete to win her father's approval.
