Damai Kami Sepanjang Hari

The film follows Iwan, who faces the challenges of losing his father, a bajaj-driver, to a tragic accident involving a singer's jeep. With his mother working hard and eventually passing away, Iwan takes on the responsibility of raising his younger siblings. His determination leads him to sing on the streets to support his family, but financial struggles force him to make the painful decision to place his siblings in an orphanage.

When his girlfriend confronts him about this choice, Iwan's instinct is to flee with them, which results in his imprisonment. However, a journalist named Miftah recognizes Iwan's talent and helps him secure a recording deal. The story escalates as Iwan's success leads to conflict with the singer who initially caused his father's death, culminating in a dramatic turn of events that affects both their lives.
