Dancing on Ice

The story unfolds in New Year 1996, during a time of great turmoil in the Balkans following the collapse of socialist regimes. As nationalist wars ravage the region, economic instability and population displacements become prevalent. In this context, three women, who are strangers to one another, find themselves in a border town in Bulgaria, united by their desperate quest to cross illegally into Greece.
