The story centers around Kueiyuan, a deliveryman for a cosmetics company who is a womanizer with dreams of quick wealth. He meets Qingmei, a 20-year-old girl feeling trapped by her life and eager for change. Their relationship quickly escalates as Qingmei falls in love with Kueiyuan, which leads her into a world of complications involving an older millionaire and the seductive control of Yuchan, who runs a cabaret.
